Dinner at the Inn

The Four Courses

4 course gourmet dining is available by advanced reservation at 7:30pm.

A hallmark of the Amherst Shore Country Inn,  the menu changes each day and one makes their dining selections a few days prior to arrival.

 

The cost for the dinner fare is $55.00 per person plus HST.

 

For the winter season,…. as a special,…. dinner is $49.50/person plus HST from December 1st, 2016 until May 1st, 2017.

 

Cocktails, spirits, a few wines by the glass and a selection of regional and imported beers are available in our sitting room after 7:00pm.  A selection of Nova Scotian and international wines are available by the bottle as well to complete the dinner.

 

The dinner always begins with soup and a loaf of freshly baked bread from scratch.

 

The second course, the salad course, features fresh garden fare in season.

 

For the main course, there is always a choice between two entrees, either a seafood fresh from Maritime waters and a meat/chicken alternative.  The lush garden fare is again highlighted during the main course with the accompanying vegetables.

 

At dessert there is always a choice of a chocolate and an alternate dessert for those looking for something lighter.

 

 

A typical dinner,… as an example,… it changes nightly.
